Louisiana Maternity- La. Rev. Stat. Ann. §§ 23:341 to 23:342
Covered Employers: An employer who employs more than twenty-five employees within Louisiana for each working day in each of twenty or more calendar weeks in the current or preceding calendar year.

Entitlement: Employees are entitled to leave for a "reasonable period of time" not to exceed four (4) months. "Reasonable period of time" means that period during which the female employee is disabled on account of pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions. Leave is limited to six (6) weeks for normal pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions.
